In addition to the triathlon, there will now alo be a cross-duathlon option. This will consist of a 5km run, 22km mountain bike and 8.5km run.
A straight 1,000m swim up the tidal estuary at the beautiful Cuckmere Haven. The swim will head up the river but with a high tide there will be negligible current. The close proximity of the riverbank will make for a great spectator friendly swim.
The bike route will follow the official “red route” in Friston Forest for two laps totalling approximately 22km. This is a challenging course with some tough climbs, but is not overly technical making it accessible to less experienced mountain bikers. Approximately 420m (1,380ft) elevation.

The run will be a challenging 8.5km single lap course in Friston Forest with some steep climbs.
